If I’m being honest, my ideal diet would actually be not dieting at all, but realistically we all have those times where we hit a point of “I weigh more than I would like to.” Then comes the hard part: What kind of diet do I want to choose. Usually the first answers that come to mind are: easy, quick, and “but I still really want to have wine and ice cream.” Now usually the first lesson of dieting is we can’t have our cake and eat it too but I’m here to tell you that you can. The cake might just come in the form of an Ideal Protein Double chocolate brownie heated in the microwave to perfection.
Ideal protein isn’t necessary easy (though it’s not hard either), but I can’t argue with the results. I lost 13 pounds within two weeks! Compared to everyone else around me, losing thirteen pounds was pretty minimal. The best part? I felt better. I quickly learned what people have been trying to tell me for years: "your body works better when you put the right things into it." Really? You mean healthy food actually makes you feel better? I honestly just thought my mother was out to get me as a child as she scooped brussel sprouts onto my plate.
